I thought with the 4th of July coming up it would be good to re-post this as a reminder: I look for a lot of lost pets throughout the year. Please be extra aware of your pets safety during the 4th of July holiday. All of the excitement and noise during this time can be […]

I look for a lot of lost pets throughout the year.  Please be extra aware of your pets  safety during the 4th of July holiday.  All of the excitement and noise during this time can be very scary for your pet.   It is a time when a lot of animals might run in fear because of the […]

Pet Health Tips

With everyone concerned about health this year I just wanted to mention a few things to think about when it comes to the health of your pet.   Guacamole is always a favorite at parties and during football season, however it can be toxic to your pet.  Avocados contain persin which can cause vomiting and diarrhea and can even […]

It is so gratifying to know that because of some of the help you have given, that an animal has been reunited with their loved ones. I want to thank Tanya for her kind words and for sharing Lucy’s story. Faith, Hope and Lucy…. By Tanya Hilgendorf Working with Colleen was a truly amazing […]

Goose Healed My Heart

When I would get home from work the house would be so quiet and empty. Kalli wasn’t there to greet me at the door and I would think, “ok what do I do now”. I only lasted about a month before I had to get another cat.

My Thoughts…

I look at all the craziness and destruction in the world and wonder how all this hatred came about, and what can I do to change it.  I think compassion for our animals is a good start.  If I can convey their feelings and needs to their people, maybe that will be the beginning of […]

Kalli was just a kitten when I got her, about 6 weeks old.  Her siblings were always picking on her because she was the runt of the litter, so I agreed to take her home.  Throughout the years Kalli and I developed a very strong connection.  I always seemed to know what she wanted and […]

The Fish

Posted on: Monday, August 11, 2014 |

I have always had a love for animals.  Growing up I always had a dog, but the first love that I can remember is when I was around 8 years old.  I remember going to the fair and winning a gold fish, and I just stood there like I was in shock because I couldn’t […]
