I have always had a love for animals.  Growing up I always had a dog, but the first love that I can remember is when I was around 8 years old.  I remember going to the fair and winning a gold fish, and I just stood there like I was in shock because I couldn’t believe I had won anything.  I fed and took care of that fish every day.   I truly loved that fish and was heartbroken when he passed.
